We hope our Aunty Cath won’t mind that we have let you in on her secret brownie recipe.
Makes 12 big ones or more little ones.
185g chocolate (good dark chocolate is best)
1 cup caster sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup plain flour
Preheat oven to 180C
Melt butter and chocolate over a low heat
Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla
Add lightly beaten eggs one at a time
Fold in sifted flour and mix until well combined
Pour into greased tray and bake for 30 mins
Serve warm with ice-cream, berries or nuts and chocolate sauce to turn them from a treat into a full blown dessert
